Passion meets Perfection

An exciting article about Oldenburg's transformation into the 3D world of drawing is described in the March issue of BM.

Back in 2014, we completely converted our shop interior dept. to 3D with Solidworks. Over the years, the other business areas of aircraft, residential and the largest area of yacht interiors were included. The software landscape was also constantly expanded with e.g. 3D CAD Swood Design and Swood CAM. In addition, a PDM system was integrated as an integral component. This year, the direct integration into our new ERP system is imminent.

Looking to the future, what's next? Around the turn of the year we will start an automated panel storage and processing centre. Stay tuned.

Wood works.

It is essential for our work to become familiar with materials: to know their weaknesses, to make their properties and strengths visible, to show them in new contexts and to let them unfold their effect.

Despite all progress, the creative handling of the original material wood is still a supreme discipline that continues to fascinate us because of its aesthetic and functional possibilities. Being measured against the highest standards here is therefore always a special pleasure for us.
