On 22. September 2022, Oldenburger celebrated an important event: The steel construction of two new factory halls has been completed - it's the topping-out ceremony!
As part of the plant expansion at the location in Dinklage, two additional production halls are currently being built in order to bundle the entire production processes at one location in the future. Among other things, modern machinery and new storage equipment will be installed in the new halls, so that in future the entire value-added chain, from incoming goods to outgoing goods, can be represented at a highly modern and economical location.
Mr. Blettrup, in his function as site manager of the company Wichelmann from Lohne, which erected the steel construction, held a traditional topping-out speech to hang the topping-out crown. Afterwards, Carsten Loges, Managing Director of Oldenburger Interior GmbH & Co. KG, thanked the employees of the contractors as well as the many colleagues in his own company who were involved in the planning and realisation of the building project. Special thanks go to Dierk Beutel, who is managing and coordinating the construction activities, and to the two shareholders of Oldenburger Möbelwerkstätten, Erich Stallkamp and Albert Kamphaus, who, as major investors, are making the entire building project possible.
The two halls are to be completed by the end of this year. The move from the old location on Sanderstraße to the new location on Boschstraße is planned for the beginning of 2023. The shareholders and the management are pleased with the good progress of the construction work and look forward to the move in the near future. This will mark another milestone in the company's history and lay the foundation for a secure future for the company.
